With the implementation of Topo’s Sourcing Module, REWE Far East has achieved a 50% reduction in time spent on sourcing-related supplier communications.

Topo and REWE Far East (RFE) have partnered to digitize RFE’s sourcing operations and enable seamless collaboration between buyers, suppliers, and internal teams. Since the introduction of Topo’s Sourcing Module, RFE has reduced the time spent on supplier email communication by 50%. In addition, the company has achieved a 25% time saving in consolidating multiple product offers, thanks to Topo’s low-code platform.

RFE selected Topo to digitize and automate its sourcing processes in response to ongoing supply chain challenges, particularly those arising during and after the pandemic.

Before adopting Topo, RFE’s teams relied heavily on emailing individual suppliers for data and manually consolidating information across multiple Excel spreadsheets, resulting in complex and time-consuming workflows.

Since the successful implementation of the system two years ago, RFE has seen significant operational improvements. These include a faster and more efficient inquiry process, with the ability to send bulk requests and generate product overviews directly within the platform—eliminating the need to consolidate multiple Excel files received via email.

Topo Solutions has also enhanced RFE’s visibility and decision-making by providing a centralized platform to evaluate and recommend suppliers based on key criteria such as performance, price, quality, lead times, and on-time delivery records.
